Marla Sisneros, the front desk receptionist, is known for her dedication to providing excellent patient care. Holding a BA in medical administration, Marla has always been passionate about helping people improve their lives in a positive way. Her love for being with family and friends extends to her interactions with patients, where she enjoys getting to know them on a first-name basis. Marla eagerly looks forward to collaborating with her colleagues and the doctor to ensure outstanding healthcare experiences. Her guiding motto is to treat people the way she wants to be treated.

Adrianne, a dedicated technician, is a mother of three and a proud grandmother of two. Her favorite pastime is spending quality moments with her family during her leisure time, particularly in the summer. Adrianne finds joy in activities like fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, barbecuing, enjoying football, and exploring new places through travel.

With a rich 17-year career in the medical field, beginning in 2007, Adrianne initially served as a Certified Nurse Assistant for 12 years. In 2018, she transitioned to working with Doctor Tibbitts as an Ophthalmic Technician, acquiring her training on the job. Under the mentorship of Doctor Tibbitts, Adrianne has gained invaluable skills, and her knowledge continues to expand. Every day, she eagerly anticipates assisting patients in achieving better vision and managing eye diseases. Adrianne's passion for eye care flourishes with each success story from her patients.

Jessica, a native of Alamosa, was raised as the youngest among seven sisters. Now married with two boys, she pursued massage therapy at TSJC, practicing for 12 years in Pagosa Springs.

With a lifelong interest in anatomy and a passion for helping people, Jessica finds joy in nature, music, dancing, and prioritizes her family above all. Her journey from glasses to contacts and ultimately Lasik inspired her to share positive patient experiences.

Venturing into the eye world, Jessica has embraced every lesson, aspiring to provide others with a fantastic experience.

Meet Emery, our fun and spunky team member. She is a wife, an avid nap-taker, and Dr. Pepper’s #1 fan. She loves everything purple and the mountains.

Meet Chelsy Kroschel, a dedicated wife and proud mom of four wonderful kids, three boys and a lovely girl. Chelsy is more than just your average person – she's an outgoing and enthusiastic individual with a heart that loves connecting with people and helping in any way possible.

Outside of work, you'll likely find Chelsy in the garage, passionately turning wrenches and contributing to the restoration of several classic cars in her possession, including the iconic '69 Chevelle SS and her absolute favorite, the 1970 Dodge Charger.

If she's not in the shop with her cars and husband or playing with her kids, Chelsy is out in the mountains, engaging in activities like camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Despite her rough and tough exterior, she is quick to assure you that her heart is big and always open. Chelsy is someone you can count on for unwavering support in times of need.

Her journey in the medical field began in 2012 as a certified nursing assistant. After a break in 2018, she ventured into the technology side of customer service. Post-Covid, Chelsy found her way to RMEC as an Ophthalmic Tech for Dr. Tibbitts, discovering a newfound passion for the intricate world of the eye. Always eager to learn, she expanded her capabilities by taking on the role of an Optician.

Wearing glasses since the age of 5, Chelsy understands firsthand the importance of building confidence in choosing eyewear. Her goal is to be one of the friendly faces you encounter when making eyewear decisions. Helping people is not just a profession for Chelsy; it's a deeply rooted passion in her life.

Meet Marissa, our adventurous team member—a seeker of excitement, a lover of mountains, and a proud parent to a game-loving 6-year-old. Always eager for new experiences, Marissa thrives on creating precious memories. Her dynamic spirit adds a unique and vibrant touch to our team.

Joslynn has been in the optical field for over six years, beginning her training at Eye Associates of New Mexico in 2017. Her experience with such an outstanding organization helped shape her role as an optician, allowing her to serve the Northern New Mexico community for more than five years.

Joslynn excels in glasses adjustments and troubleshooting any eyewear-related issues. She takes pride in helping patients find lenses and frames that not only achieve their desired look but also fit seamlessly into their lifestyle needs. One of her favorite aspects of her work is seeing the joy on a patient’s face when they try on their glasses for the first time.

Now part of Mountain Valley Eye Care, Joslynn is honored to work alongside Dr. Tibbitts, whom she admires for his commitment to providing exceptional patient care. She values the opportunity to contribute to a practice that consistently raises the bar in quality eye care. Joslynn is excited to extend her expertise to the Southern Colorado community and looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact through her work.
